Below are links to useful resources and tools. The * next to the name means you need the username and password. This information can be found on the Veeder Online Tools and Subscription sheet that will be sent home at the beginning of the school year. If you need another please either contact me or have your student pick up a copy in the library.
- Bookflix*: Video database that pairs storybooks with non-fiction. Fun to watch together! Grades K-4
- BrainPop*: Database of animated, curriculum-based videos integrated with quizzes and many activities. Grades 3-12
- BrainPop Jr.*: Same great features as BrainPop only geared toward a younger audience. Grades K-5
- Britannica School: General use encyclopedia for research in any subject. Grades PreK-12
- iReady*: Online, personalized instruction in reading and math geared to help students achieve proficiency. Grades K-8
- Kids InfoBits*: Database for young researchers organized in a graphical. Grades 3-6
- PebbleGo*: A research database in the areas of animals, science, biographies, and social studies. Grades K-5
- PebbleGo Next*: A research database of most school subjects for middle grade levels. Grades 3-8
- Sora*: Read or listen to books online. You may use a computer or a device with the Sora app. Grades K-12
- Soundzabound*: Royalty free music and sound effects that can be used for educational projects. Grades 3-12
- Tumble Books*: Database of interactive children’s ebooks. Grades PreK-6
